Caroline Boyd
Caroline Boyd is a multidisciplinary artist who examines human relationships with the natural world, built environments, and ourselves. Informed by various methods of research, Boyd uses experimentation of non-traditional materials and processes to make sense of the world around her. Additionally, her consistent use of pattern and texture through her work mirrors those which are found in the natural world, and questions how we exist knowing the impermanence of not only our physical form, but also the impermanence of our climate and ability to survive under the growing harshness of the natural world. Her work embraces several mediums, including sculpture, photography, metalsmithing, printmaking, and tattoo.
